Agricultural Diesel Mechanic – $25.00+ per hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for a local company in Athens, TN.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues on farm equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, combines, sprayers, balers, loaders, skid steers, and other agricultural machinery.
• Inspect equipment and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
• Troubleshoot engine performance, transmission, brake, steering, and hydraulic system problems.
• Conduct routine service including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.

 Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, preferably with agricultural equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues.
• Technical certification in Diesel Technology or Heavy Equipment Repair.
• Experience with John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, CAT, or similar equipment.

Diesel Mechanic Shift:

• 1^st shift
• 7:30am-4:30pm
